www.upriseart. As a first glimpse of some new work, I wanna talk frames. 

Framing can be a daunting task. So many options and an irrational fear of “getting it wrong” (nonsense!). Yet, my work demands a frame. The textiles need to be protected. So I an trash becoming treasure and all that.

Here, I pl For the month of May, I took the inaugural @color.noww class on the color BLUE. It’s a big color for me - almost too big and kinda tricky to focus on. But over the last four weeks I saw blue in odd places: as a name, as a verb, as a scientific “Every Sweater I Own” • 20 x 20 x 2.5 • Acrylic on Handwoven Cotton + Linen 

Not to mention, the backseat of my car.
